I am often asked what defines a great Leader.
The answer is simple. Leadership is Ownership.
Here is how most projects can be broken down:
Idea
Strategy and Planning
Zero to One Execution / getting to PMF stage
Creation of Processes and Systems
One to n / consistent Growth / Scale
As a Leader the more steps you can completely own the better you are. And to be honest it’s a virtuous cycle.
That’s why I advice people who want to startup to start something as simple as a Twitter Profile or a YouTube channel. It’s super easy to start but scaling it is super difficult.
The above five steps are needed to grow your channel / profile. And once you go through the idea to scale cycle for a small idea, you repeat it but this time with a bigger idea. Do it enough times and you will get into the creator mode where you keep coming up with ideas and scaling them.
The best ideas are the ones which help us progress as humans.
I think I sort of got digressed from my initial Leadership topic :)
Thanks!
